What We Believe

Mission Statement

We exist to pursue God, practice righteousness, and make disciples of Jesus Christ who love and serve with joy in a community of grace and truth.

Statement of Foundational Values

  • Worship: To promote a lifestyle of exalting Christ both personally and corporately.
  • Gospel Community: To foster a church family where members love, challenge, and encourage one another in our weaknesses and strengths through the ministries of presence and prayer.
  • Discipleship: To equip men, women, and children of all ages to faithfully follow Jesus, exercise spiritual gifts, and fulfill His calling on our lives.
  • Missions: To generously invest in global disciple-makers.
  • Expository Preaching: To rightly handle the word of truth through the teaching of sound biblical principles and doctrine. We examine the whole counsel of God by preaching through books of the Bible.
  • Plurality of Elders: To practice the New Testament model of a council of qualified men who serve, lead, oversee, and protect church members.

Bylaws and Statement of Beliefs

These statements of values and beliefs are not exhaustive. By God’s grace and under His authority, the Council of Elders serves as the interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application for Antioch Community Church.
