Missions

Juntos in Colombia

Nate and Tara Ariel run Juntos, a non-profit 501 c3 organization, focusing on leading and mentoring individuals which include people in the Burlington, NC area, and in Colombia, South America. The ministry supports evangelism first, and also helps with community development.

Nate and Tara help in logistics for missionary organizations, missionaries, and work teams, and their home in Bocachica serves as a hospitality house for those who come to serve.

The Ariels have ongoing partnerships to help bring potable water to areas of Colombia where needed infrastructure does not exist.

They collaborate with like-minded Christians from various denominations on special projects, which can vary from water filters to Christian literature distribution to youth group events. Their biggest project currently is building the first private Christian school in Bocachica, in partnership with the local church. The plan is to add a classroom every year until the school is complete.

The Ariel’s versatility enables them to be productive both in the USA and Colombia. They say, “It is a blessing to be primary and secondary support to facilitate the work the Lord is doing with our friends in many places.”
